2017 RACE UPDATE

Entries for the 2017 Emersons 3 Peaks Enduro will open on 20th July 9pm. The event will be on the 2-3 December and limited to 200 entrants.

This years event will be pretty similar to last years format, with a day of practice on Friday, an epic tour around the outskirts of Dunedin and a dinner at the Emersons Brewery on Saturday, then a final crazy fun day of knarly trails on Signal Hill to finish things off on Sunday.

While we do not hesitate to use some pretty tough trails, the time limits during this race are relatively easy. So if you are a bit unsure if you have the skills to ride everything, don't worry... many riders walk sections of these tracks and you won't be alone! We encourage you to take the challenge and join the fun. At the end of the day, almost everyone that competes has an amazing time and loves the atmosphere... so do come give it a go!

Once again the event will be an official EWS qualifier event and I believe we are also the final event riders can gain points before selection ends, so we expect some fierce competition from the young and up and coming stars.

Entry Fees will remain unchanged from last year, which was $120 for adults and $100 for under 21 riders. We will have race tops again for $70 and for the first time we are offering rider t shirts for $35.

We are changing our age categories to fit into the Enduro World Series format. Age groups are based on rider age on the 31 December of competition year.

Youth 15-17 (Under 15 riders allowed only if they ride together with an adult at all times)

Junior 18-20 (Last year was 18-21)
