Both YETI CYCLES and OPEN CYCLES can be purchased from some of the best bike shops across the country. We offer the small parts and clothing for sale directly from this website.
We are also here for you if you need advice on an upcoming purchase, help finding a dealer, or after sales support.
We are passionate about supporting community. We get people together at demo days, gatherings and events. We ride together and we join forces to support those more in need.

History
Black Seal was setup by Kashi after an opportunity arose to distribute Yeti Cycles in NZ. After spending 13 years on the pro XC circuit, he felt this would be a great way to continue sharing his passion for mountain bikes.
Our strategy has always been passion lead and customers first... We only distribute brands we LOVE, and we do it in the way we feel is best for customers. We feel that is a mix of direct and dealer sales. So while we do sell products direct to consumer, we always prefer these to be sold via our dealers, who can then ensure great ongoing local service.
Kashi Leuchs
After spending 13 years representing New Zealand at the top of the MTB XC World Circuit and competing in three Olympic Games, Kashi retired from racing and returned home to Dunedin.
Kashi and his wife Roshni, have two children - Jasper and Laksmi.
In 2022 the family moved to Rotorua to be closer to Roshni's family and to enjoy the riding in the area.
