Yeti NZ Racing - 2024 Applications Open Now

I are excited to announce we are opening applications for a new wave of Yeti NZ Racing riders!  Two years ago we put out applications for the original Yeti NZ Racing Devo Team. We were honoured to have over 75 incredible applicants apply and we selected the best eleven to be on the programme. Its been a wonderful journey working with these riders and we are proud of what everyone has achieved. From our initial race at the Phoenix Enduro, we went to Tasmania for some world cups together, held training camps and now most of the riders have gone to Europe to follow the EDR Worldcup.  We will be changing things up a little for the next few years and I have some...

In-depth Industry & Situation update

I thought it would be a good time to provide a more in-depth update on how things are going, for those that want more then a catchy blurb or insta reel. The general bike industry, how we are doing and finally what we are up to at the moment.  Industry Doom or Boom? Let's face it, it has been a continuation of bad news in the industry recently, and the pace has certainly not slowed down over the past 6 months. It made for a very special 'boys trip' away, as we rode together, raced each other, hung...

Best unsung clothing - Yeti Bib Shorts

If there is one category of clothing from the Yeti Cycles range that I talk the most about, its actually our short liners & bib shorts. It amazes me how few people use padded shorts in the MTB world, yet they offer so much comfort and functionality... A nice set of bibs with pockets can totally transform your riding experiance. The 'chamois' has been around since the 40's and the road fraternity wouldn't be seen dead without them today. That's because they actually work in protecting amazingly well in precious private parts which, lets face it, is rather important for our reproductive abilities!     In our toughman sport of MTB, with a dress code of t-shirts and baggies, it seems uncool to add protection. But I'll...
