With our renovations here at Bike Otago pretty much complete, we thought it was the perfect time to create a fresh display dedicated to one of our favourite brands, Mons Royale. This Kiwi clothing brand has been a long time favourite of the Bike Otago team due to it’s easy to wear style, that doesn’t compromise on it’s technical performance. The versatile pieces are designed to be worn everyday - whether thats hitting the trails on your bike or heading out to meet friends for a coffee. No matter what you are doing, you’ll always look sharp.
Based in Wanaka, Mons Royale started in 2009 as the answer to a lack of stylish and functional merino clothing available on the market. Later that year, they received their first international order and before long the brand was flying off the shelves all around the world. Nowadays Mons Royale is stocked in over 400 retail stores (including Bike Otago) all around the world.
As well as creating some pretty kick-ass clothing, Mons Royale is well-known for it’s focus on quality garments and it's high standards of ethics. They have strict criteria about which companies they choose to work with, ensuring that all process treat both people, animals, and the environment with complete care.
