We're now supplying Revelate Designs bikepacking gear! Seatpacks, framebags, top-tube bags, and bar-mounted bags. Check out this Pika seatpack!What's bikepacking? The short answer is: backpacking with a bike. Traditional 'rack and panniers' type gear doesn't work with full-suspension mountain bikes, so bikepacking bags attach directly to the seatpost, frame triangle, or handlebar, meaning you can carry your tent and supplies for anything from an overnight ride with your mates to a months-long off-road adventure. Bike Otago's resident bikepacker is Lewis, who has ridden his mountain bike across most of Europe and some of New Zealand.

It was too tempting... that shiny new Niner ROS 9 frame hanging on the wall was just begging to be built up and ridden. Stunning electric blue 4130 cromo frame, built up with Pikes, singlespeed with eccentric bottom bracket - if you want to know how it rides, just come in and take it out for the afternoon. We also have one remaining pair of Louis Garneau Course Attack winter gloves in Medium - they're highly water-resistant, only $55, and they'll stop your fingers turning blue on those winter rides. 

This Saturday the whole Bike Otago team is racing at the Naseby 12hr - so unfortunately we won't be open this Saturday, but we'll resume as normal on Monday morning!
