GODZone is NZ's biggest and best-known adventure race - in fact, despite being a mere 7 days in duration, it's probably one of the most challenging adventure races on the planet. Taking part this year is Team Bracken from Dunedin, and we're proud to be supporting Richard, Joe, Tracey, and Dan by preparing their bikes for the cycling stages of this awesome event.

Devotees of the Bike Otago blog will remember that about ages ago we brought in four pairs of tasty no-name Chinese carbon rims, with the idea of testing their durability and strength compared to the usual branded (and much more expensive) alternatives. After six months of hard riding the results are in, and we're universally impressed.
