Switch Infinity utilizes a patented translating pivot that switches direction as the bike moves through its travel. This provides a tailored anti-squat curve while delivering a fine-tuned leverage ratio.
Yeti recommend using their grease gun to add new grease between every 25-100hrs based on conditions. We also recommend checking the bearings and grub screws every 300-400hrs.
To check the grub screws, please follow instructions below.
You need to remove the non drive side bearing first. Behind this are 4 grub screws. You will need a 2mm allan key to back them right off. Then tighten back up until snug. If you use 12pm as a reference, tighten them to 1pm. And best to do them in this order : Top left - Bottom right - Top right - Bottom left.
Note : you should not be able to move the rails with your hands. They should be in there nice and firm, which keeps things stiff and there is enough weight once you are on the bike for the switch to move freely.
