Every new Yeti we sell includes a complimentary first service — our way of making sure your bike is dialled and safe once it's bedded in.
What it is
A complimentary safety and quality check included with every new Yeti. It's a fresh set of expert eyes over your bike after its first few rides — confirming it was built correctly and that everything has settled in and is still working as it should. This is completely normal and expected: cables stretch, bolts settle and spokes bed in over the first few weeks of riding, so a check-over at this point keeps your bike safe and running at its best.
What's included
- Full safety check — brakes, gears, drivetrain, headset and all critical bolts checked to correct torque
- Gear and brake adjustment, and cable tension re-set after the initial bedding-in
- Wheel and spoke tension check, with truing if needed
- Suspension sag and pressure check, and confirmation your settings suit you
- Tyre pressures and a general bolt check
- Confirmation the bike was assembled correctly and that nothing has worked loose
The fine print
- Timing — book it within the first 6 weeks from the date you collect your bike.
- Where — it must be carried out by us or an Authorised Yeti Service Centre. Service done anywhere else doesn't qualify.
- One per bike — one complimentary first service per new bike.
- Adjustment only — this is a safety check and adjustment, not a repair or parts service.
- Booking required — subject to normal workshop availability, so get in touch to lock in a time.
What's not covered
- Any damage caused by riding — crashes, impacts, misuse or neglect.
- Replacement of worn or damaged parts (tyres, brake pads, chains and the like). We'll quote these separately if anything needs doing.
- Modifications, upgrades or custom setup work beyond the standard check.
