Dulkara's YETI ARC

Dulkara's YETI ARC

This week is the Tour Te Waipounamu. It's an exciting new bike packing event coving the length of the South Island, but rather then making for the quickest route, this trip aims to include all the best trails. Its set to be an epic adventure!

Our good friend Dulkara Martig will be doing her first ever bike packing event onboard a Yeti ARC. So we thought we would share some of the details of her bike and setup, as we know many people are very curious ! She's planning to sleep 8hrs per night and is bringing a cooker so she can eat proper hot dehy food.

Live commentary from DotWatcher is here now. Check out all the other rider rigs here too

Bike: Yeti ARC TURQ series carbon. DT swiss M1700 Spline 25mm wheelset, Maxxis ardent race tyre 29x2.35, Fox Factory 34 Fork, Shimano XT groupset. Ergon grips with bar ends and SQlab inner bar ends.

Key items of kit: Outdoor Research Helium bivy, Thermarest NeoAir XLite sleeping pad, Montbell sleeping bag & down jacket. Mostly Revelate bags (Harness & Egress Pocket, Mag-Tank 2000, 2 x Mountain Feedbags, Joey Downtube bag) and Apidura Expedition Saddle Pack 14L. Small backpack. A pair of trail running shoes, which I might ditch in Tekapo. 200 lumen front light & basic headtorch. Cooker and proper food.
