How warranty works on these bikes
Full warranty, same as a new bike
A 2026 bike that has never been ridden is a new bike. You get Yeti's full frame warranty and the component makers' warranties on every part, registered to you from the day you buy it. We handle any claim for you, here in Rotorua.
You're the first owner, so the frame warranty is yours
Our demo bikes have never been sold, so when you buy one you're the first registered owner and Yeti's frame warranty is registered to you. The parts (fork, shock, drivetrain, brakes, wheels) have been ridden, so they come without a manufacturer's warranty. Instead, every ex-demo leaves our workshop fully serviced and checked, and anything we found is in the listing.
Warranty is case by case
Yeti's frame warranty covers the first owner, so on a rider or trade-in bike it depends on who owned it and how it was registered. We work that out for each bike and write the warranty situation on its listing, so you know exactly what you're getting before you buy.
Good to know
No. Once a bike moves to clearance it's been cleaned up, serviced and set aside for its new owner, so the ex-demos don't go back out on demo days and the last-year models aren't built up for test rides. If you want to try the model, book a demo on one of the fleet bikes.
Yes. Ask to have the bike delivered to, and picked up from, your local service centre. Because it's a clearance bike, it's built by us in-house in Rotorua, not by the service centre.
They're already the clearance price. If a bike has been here a while, ask.
Within reason: bars, stem and dropper length we can swap before pickup. Bigger changes we'll quote.
Pick up from the showroom at 1131 Amohau Street, Rotorua, built and set up for you, or from your local service centre. Or we freight it straight to your door anywhere in New Zealand, at no charge.
