Back Alley Bikes: Christchurch Yeti Cycles Dealers
Back Alley is a super cool bike shop located in Buchan Street in Addington.
Tommy Olliver took over the reins from Rufus Wenlock, earlier this year and he shared some information with us about their epic bike workshop and suspension service.
Back Alley offers service and repairs for all types of bikes, with the shop specialising in high end mountain bikes. They carry out suspension servicing in house and also do wheel building and custom builds.
They carry a large amount of service stock to enable us to carry out repairs and services as efficiently as possible.
Back Alley supports two riders from the Yeti NZ Devo team, including Zoe Trovlov and Ollie Jenkins, both top national level enduro riders. See them featured in the video below...
The Team
Tommy Olliver. I enjoy riding anywhere on the Port Hills including the Adventure Park and a local favourite would be Godley heads. Overall favourite for Canterbury would be the Craigieburn Trails.
Adam Hamzah - Bike Mechanic. A Canterbury local who used to really enjoy the old Worsleys Forest tracks on the Port Hills before the fire. More recently he has been getting into adventure biking trips, exploring all sorts of remote South Island locations.
Ava Johnson - Bike Mechanic. Ava has recently moved to NZ from Albuquerque, New Mexico where there are some nice trails in the foothills of the Sandia Mountains. Ava is still exploring the trails NZ has to offer and hasn’t yet decided on a local favourite.
Reuben Chan- Bike Mechanic. Moved to Christchurch this year from Taranaki. His favourite trails are currently Pork 'n Puha here at CAP, otherwise Chinese Laundry at Fourforty and Taniwha in the Redwoods
Back Alley Cycles usually has a range of Yeti's available to demo and look at in real. Make sure to pay them a visit and check them out!
