This SB120 has had a tailored RideWrap on it since new. You can't see the film, which is the point. The paint underneath is still mint.

What it is

RideWrap Tailored Protection is a full-coverage clear film kit, cut for your exact Yeti model and frame size. It isn't a sheet you trim to fit. Every piece is shaped for one frame, so it follows the tubes, the linkage and the curves the way the paint does.

What it covers

• Close to the whole frame: front triangle, downtube, top tube, seat tube, seat stays and chain stays
• The spots that cop it most: rock strikes and stone chips on the downtube, heel rub on the stays, cable rub at the head tube, and shuttle and roof-rack scuffs
• Small gaps are left between pieces by design, so the film sits flat and doesn't lift

The film

• Clear and close to invisible. We fit the finish that matches your frame, gloss on gloss paint and matte on matte, so the bike looks as it did out of the box.
• Self-healing top coat. Light scuffs fade out with a bit of warmth from the sun or a hair dryer.
• Easier to clean. Mud doesn't stick to it the way it sticks to paint.
• Comes off clean. The adhesive is made to peel off without taking paint with it, so it protects resale value too.

It's tough, but it isn't armour. A big enough rock strike can still get through, so think of it as protection from everyday wear and chips.

Fitted before your bike leaves us

We fit the kit at Black Seal in Rotorua on the bare, clean frame, before the bike is built up and shipped. That's the best time to do it: no grime, nothing in the way, and every edge laid down properly. You get your new Yeti already protected from the first ride.

RideWrap Tailored Protection is an add-on for new bikes. You choose it on your quote, and it isn't sold separately on the website. Your quote shows the price for your model.
