Everyone who rides a Yeti is part of the whānau — young or old, racer or weekend explorer. There's a place for you here, always.

Ambassadors are something different. They're a small, hand-picked crew within the whānau — the riders who represent Yeti out in the world, whether that's racing at the pointy end, giving back to the mountain bike community, or genuinely inspiring others through the way they ride and share it.

It's not a discount club, and it's not for everyone. We partner with a limited number of people, and we choose them carefully. If that sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you — but come to us with your story and a real reason we should back you.

Who we're looking for

A strong application shows us at least one of these, clearly:

• Racing — you're competing at a genuinely high level (national age-group and up), or on a clear path there.
• Community — you give back to the MTB scene in a real way: coaching, trail building, volunteering, leading a crew, growing the sport around you.
• Inspiration — you've got a genuine following and you get people stoked to ride, with content that's actually good.

And one thing across the board: ambassadors need to be at least high school age.

If none of those quite fit yet, no worries at all — keep riding, keep building your story, and come back to us when it does. We read every application personally, so tell us plainly what you bring.

The levels

We run the programme across three levels — Gold, Silver and Bronze — matched to where you're at. Every level gets genuine support, sharper pricing on bikes and gear, and a direct line to us.

Gold

Our top riders and storytellers — national and international enduro and XC racers, influencers with real reach, and people who carry mana in the community.

Age-group national-level riders, coaches and community figures with a strong social presence and a real influence on the sport.

Bronze

Up-and-coming racers who are already putting in the work — showing real results or real promise on the bike, and ready to represent Yeti properly. Bronze is an earned first step into the ambassador crew, with room to grow into Silver and Gold as your results and story build.

What we ask of everyone

• Fly the flag — the YETI NZ logo on your race top (we'll supply it, or we can print it on your own gear if you've got other clothing sponsors)
• Ride your Yeti with pride and share the stoke
• Be a good human in the community — that's what the whānau is all about

How to apply

Ambassador pricing is looked after through your My-Yeti account, so the first step is to create one (or sign in if you've already got one) — that's where everything lives once you're on board.

Then fill in the short application and tell us your story — and your real reason. We read every one personally and get back to you. It might take a little longer over busy periods, but you'll always hear from us.
